Photo Restoration

With the digital age, a copy of a digital file image allows an exact reproduction of that digital file.

Unfortunately, old photographs fade away with time. Exposure to light and air causes the pigments to fade or even shift colors.
Digital restoration is intended to bring the photograph back to it original condition. Many times, the reproduction print is as good quality or better than the original.

The original was an aged 1854 oil painting of Silver Creek.  The reproduction, done for the Anderson Lee Library, could be printed full size with the colors restored.
